We’ll be filming interviews with residential childcare professionals at a property in Worsley, Salford from 10th - 12th September.
Participants must ideally be able to attend from 3pm until approximately 7.30pm (end time can be flexible) to take part in activities with the young actors who will be joining us after school hours. However we are also able to carry out shorter interviews for those who are unable to attend later in the day, so timings can be flexible.
-
Simply share your story and chat about your work in residential childcare on camera! Our team will carry out an informal, relaxed and fun interview giving you the opportunity to speak about your work, the difference you make, the highs and lows of your important work. The filming will be informal, not scripted, and you’ll have the opportunity to speak as you would to anyone considering a career in residential childcare. If you are being filmed after school hours, you'll also have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities with the child actors who are joining us.
-
Your interview and video footage will form part of a series of campaign films and social media content promoting careers in residential childcare to a wider audience. Your words, images and video footage will be used on the campaign website, in social media promotions, in press and associated campaign activities. You’ll be asked to sign an interview release form on the day confirming exactly how your interview will be used. By taking part, you will become a face of the Greater Manchester #IfYouCareYouCan campaign and make a real difference to the lives of children and young people at a time of severe staff shortages in the sector.
Check out the wider #IfYouCareYouCan campaign to see how other residential childcare practitioners have shared their stories.
-
We will only use your first name in any films or content, and will never provide details of your full name or place of work unless you want us to.
